Author Topic: Who wants to buy my $300 LEGO set for me?  (Read 5785 times)

After spending hours in LDD, this is the result of a $302.01 CAD LEGO set. Who wants to buy it for me? :)

I think LEGO seriously overprices LDD things. But I guess it's for the printing the 335 step instruction booklet. (It took hella long to generate.)

Note: It doesn't have doors because LDD wouldn't let me sell it if it had doors.

LDD was ridiculous. If I place a 32x32, I can't sell my stuff. If I place a 6x16, 8x18, 8x8, etc., I can't sell it.Certain bricks were restricted to certain colours. There's a garbage bin, but no lid for it. There's a drawer, but there isn't a wardrobe to put it in, so you basically can't place the drawer anywhere. It doesn't give instructions on how to rotate a brick. It gives instructions to all these useless features.

I go make something that costs allot too, brb :3

thats a shame, i thought it would be fun to make and buy sets.
its just way way to spendy for what looks like only 1000 standard bricks

i covered the baseplate with 1x1 white bricks 3 times and it came to £332.68 $542.48

Ima try to put some Blockland creations in this thing...

Someone make a blockhead out of legos.

Its cheaper to buy random sets and use parts from those then to order special amount of bricks.

Or order the bricks off Bricklink.com, the unofficial LEGO market place.

If I was able to build it with you. =)

But that's a little of a impossibly.

Man, it's too bad this stuff is so expensive.

If only there was a cheap alternative to buying plastic bricks to build with friends.hurr

Someone make a blockhead out of legos.
It has already been done.

One reason why I stopped using this is because the sets you make are way too overpriced :C

Also, Mr.Cookie was right about the stupid restrictions. I hate them. >:c

They should make it so you pay a $19.95 one-time fee, and you can request any bricks you want at any time and build with them. It'd be so cool!

I've made multiple things with LDD, but I guess Lego thought it would be hilarious if they deleted all of my submissions to their gallery. :|

I never bought any of them for the same reason everyone else doesn't; it costs like a buck a brick.
