They do completely different things. kompressor's converts a live build (unless he changed it) to an isometric render, whereas Destiny's converts a save file to a model. The pretty pictures simply come from him loading it in a modelling program and rendering it.

i know how rendering works thank you.

If anything, this is more useful.

Here's some of my first test renders.

I had to cut it in half to export it correctly, much like moving a real house.
End product is well worth it.

Because of the textures I'm finding it hard to create realistic lighting, shall do soon after some tinkering.
I need to get some projection skills back I think.

If anyone has some small saves I'd be happy to render them around my house.

Aww, I thought the render would turn out better.  I could make brick doors if you want due to JVS not appearing.

Yeah I can make the render better, because I just forgot to ask you how you want it (lighting-angle)

There are so many cool things you could do with this.

Phflack, is that a toilet right next to your bed? lol

Also, ACM City please?

It's quite a big save, well not "massive" but it'll take some time to convert, 30% so far.

These look awesome, some of them remind me of the 3D renderings that LEGO uses in their instruction manuals.

yus, if you ever try to build a functioning home in a 16*16 cube, you'll run out of room, it's hard making stuff that small :o

what about interior of the 32*32 :D
it's prettier

I want to try using obj2blb with this to make single-brick builds
