We are not some animalistic society.  Our main purpose depends on what you live your life as.
Scientists want to discover new things for advancement in our understanding of our universe, which leads to better technologies.  There are some people who live their lives to simply enjoy it, and yet others live their lives to help the less fortunate, etc.  Apparently your only goal in life is to reproduce.

If our goal is to reproduce, then every nationality except for the US, some Asian countries, and countries in the Middle East are the only ones reaching that goal.  The average child per household is decreasing in other countries8, but I can guarantee that it's not because of gays.

*Average child/household (family) needs to be at a certain number for population to remain stable.

I dislike gays in a way you might dislike a certain food.

Apart from in this case, the food has a brand you know of on it, so you are slightly disappointed with it.
