the funeral was hosted at the local church
After i left, i completely forgot it was a funeral.
Everyone was singin and PRAISIN DA LODE
it was loud as heck and then the casket was hidden under flowers and i forgot why i was there.

If the undue "celebration" was drowning out anything about the funeral, you certainly weren't at a Catholic church.  You were most likely at a "Holy Drum and Bass" church.

That sounds a bit like the funerals we have down here. Except we have parades.


I find Roman Catholic doctrine wierd.

But the probably think the same of us.
