Hello, I'm Deadlybones.  I tried the demo for BL a while ago and liked it but forgot about it.  A few days ago I found the installer again and I'm addicted.  Another thing is that I come from ROBLOX(*GASP*).  I joined here so I wouldn't have to play with mindless drone eight year olds and so I don't have to play all of the "I stole everything here and called it my own obby" crap(I also got banned on my old main account for wearing snake pants...but w/e :P).  Some of you are pretty badass too and funny.  From the looks of it others can be richards to newcomers so I don't really care if this thread is flamed at all.

Sooooooo.  On with mah questions.  I'll edit it as needed:

1. I don't actually have the full game yet but I'm looking in to mail billing.  Do they just send you the key by e-mail?

2.I consider myself a competent hobbyist programmer/scripter with lots of creativity.  Could someone tell me a bit more about this(and events)?  What are the limits to TS in BL?  What kinds of things can you make?  I'll probably check out the coding forum after this.

3.Can you make your own (working) vehicles?  Also, could I make a really big spaceship that moves with people inside(w/o all the jumpiness and shaking)?

4.Do you think that I will lag online?  The game (demo) runs well for me except when zooming in on grass.  BTW ROBLOX worked alright on my comp.  Please say you think I should be fine >.<

Oh, another thing.  I messed with the graphics and now it doesn't really lag when I zoom in on grass.

Yeah, if you don't constantly mention it, that shouldn't be a problem. There will still be one or two idiots that say things like "go back to roblox", but you get used to them.


Oh, and don't constantly put it down, either. Not everybody from Roblox is a mindless drone eight year old that does nothing but copy your stuff and people will get annoyed and call you a bandwagoner for saying stuff to the effect of "roblox sux".

Lots of people usually lag in grass. Tip: Don't spam grass emitters, or people get pissed.

The reason I was mentioning *THE GAME THAT SHALL NOT BE NAMED* was so you know that I have experience playing these types of games and if you are explaining something then you have something to compare to.

Now that I think about it...
Dont spam. Period.
That means, don't build off of a baseplate, don't spam any kind of emmiter, unless it is a controlled amount for effect. Don't shoot people outside of a minigame. Don't paint people with your paint can. Don't block people's doorways/other means to get through with your bricks.

Spam on a baseplate is still spam.

Also, I personally disable /clearspambricks because it destroys things that are not necessarily spam, and encourages idiots to put baseplates under their spam, making it worse.

I still play it but I was mostly trying not to praise it because I thought that would make people here even angrier.  You BLers are confuzzlin'.

Still, having it on a plate is much easier to delete.

6. Could someone explain minigames? Go into the escape menu, clicking "Minigames", and if you want to join one, click on it and press "Join" if you want to make one, press "Create" Follow the steps there, such as weapons, name, playertypes, brick options, etc.

Add-ons are functional in the demo, and same here, I only had it for one day :P

If you zoom in to the grass emitters it shouldn't surprise you if you lag. Generally if you zoom into particles very closely it'll become laggy.
