I just don't understand why we have to have religion in our lives. :/

oh, you poor, poor atheists. Always having to deal with otherpeople's customs and whatnot. Why can't everyone just accept that you're right and they're wrong and they should stop having their own religions?

That question goes both ways but only the weak or unintelligent are bothered by those who question their faith (or lack thereof).

Wasn't that the pope telling his people if they killed a muslim they'll go straight to heaven, even if the guy who killed a muslim raped 7 little girls and boys, murderd 7 women, and killed his entire family after raping them?
