Yeah, and even though she's a dirty, dirty girl, I'd still pound that ass.
this
that is all

You guys that are living back in the "classic days of rock" are just as close-minded as the idiots that are hyped up over every front-page-Myspace artist.

Get some diversity, and shut the forget up. Shunning a certain genre of music, only because you don't find it appealing is god damned stupid of you. It's because of people like you that I can't stand Metallica anymore. Metallica may be the epitome of hard rock, but that doesn't mean you have to treat them like they're gods. Their music is just as repetitive as Owl City or Disturbed.

Yeah, I did just compare Metallica to Owl City. QQ

stuff son.

I never said I HATED all the new music :(
I just hate Ke-dollar sign-ha's voice.

thats like 13 year old girls who love lil wayne and his songs about: "loving bitches" and "pusillanimous individual surounding me"

It's not even her voice anymore after all the stuff that's been done to it before you actually hear it

Those are what we call "bitches" and "hoes", son.

Sometimes I don't get that though. They always go "eww" when they eavesdrop on guy conversations but they listen to songs about getting wasted and blowing guys in a bathroom stall.

What a coincidence, I was listening to Blah Blah Blah when I saw this thread

And I'm still listening to it :>

You better be calling popular bands of the past stuffty, not current popular bands good. Owl City is so damn repetitve that you can cue up four of his songs in random spots on top of eachother and you can't pick out the individual songs inside that because the beats and melodies are so similar.

Also there's so much better music out there. Owl City barely deserves to be called music.

If we were close-minded we wouldn't know who these people were, would we? Am I close-minded because I prefer grunge and metal to hip-hop and nu disco? Am I close-minded because I'd rather listen to music not about love/drugs/money/image once in a while?

Additionally, of course people are going to shun music they don't like. If you find a song you don't like you're not going to obsess over it, now are you?

I don't remember the names of any good bands lol.

Infact Randomguy asked me about Metallica and I was like "who?".

I'm not saying popular bands of the past were bad, and I'm not saying popular bands of today are good. I'm just comparing Metallica and Owl City in the sense they're both intensely repetitive.

Both bands have a song or two that will stand out, though. Fade to Black is an amazing song, and Fireflies is okay. Neither are my favourites, but to me, those are the songs from each of those bands that have that "spark" to them to make them great.

I don't ever really find music bad. There are some bands and some types of music that I find unbearably annoying, but I don't want to say they're bad. Everyone has their own tastes.

I'm not calling you ignorant.

People who are unwilling to accept that music has genres, and different people like different genres, are who I'm referring to.

Also, not all rap/hip hop/R&B songs are about love, drugs or money.
