I find rss feeds to be a much better way of dealing with things I want to read every day. I rarely even bookmark anything anymore, it just gets piled into the feed reader. I couldn't possibly read them by hand anyway, on average I get about 160 messages a day. I typically skim headlines and click through on the articles that I'm actually interested in. Shared items get sent to the people following me (one person right now, I mostly share stuff so I can keep track of articles I like and so there's some content there if anyone else follows me). Starred items get posted on a little box on my facebook profile so people can see what I'm reading, like this:

It's pretty cool.
