Author Topic: Help making a blockland internet server(AGHHHH PLEASE HELP!)  (Read 2070 times)

I think my router randomizes my ip adress and I don't think I have UPnP, and the windows shown in the "port forwarding on a mac" don't look like mine. Could someone please help me? I really want to make a blockland server!(I've wanted to for a while now)

I'd really appreciate help,

sincerely,

SO BADLY IT'S NOT EXPLAINABLE WITH WORDS......

Is no one helping me because of my avatar? I knew it! What's wrong with my avatar? It's funny right? I like it? What else could I use? Instead of just reading this, WHY ARENT YOU HELPING ME?

Jesus christ, we are not your personal 24/7 support staff. Just follow this guide. http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=40783.0

If you do not know how to port forward and/or you know it will not function, use UPnP.
I cleared my port forwards list (Use Defaults), and now UPnP works.

If you're going to port forward, read the above post.

How do I enable UPnP?(I'm on a mac) Is UPnP windows only?

UPnP is router specific, most routers support it, some do not. If your router doesn't support it you will have to use the old fashioned method of Port Forwarding.

I tried port forwarding. I can't type in all the ports.(28000-28030) I only lets me type in about 20.

Many routers let you forward a range of ports so you don't have to do that. If your router doesn't have the feature then you can only host for 20 people, which is more then enough.
