Internet Explorer is ridiculously susceptible to browser exploits. A good rule of thumb with internet safety is to not use IE.

If I recall correctly, a third party once assembled a team of white hat hackers to try and crack the major browsers (IE, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Chrome). IE took like twenty minutes. Firefox took four hours, Safari two hours, Opera around one. They gave up at the end of the day trying to crack Chrome.

viruses don't download, you do. That's what you get for trying to get your cp from strange unknown torrenting sites.

Do browser exploits download themselves? :o

It happens, though. Enough that I know what they are.

Because i'm a nerd and have no life I shall use my powers to help you. Follow these instructions at this website to remove the virus.
