Author Topic: Tablets Discussion  (Read 1822 times)

I just got this thing.

It's my first tablet, and I must say I'm quite pleased with it. It's a Touch Pen tablet, meaning you can use it as a mouse with your fingers as well as with a pen. I'm currently using it as a mouse for web browsing and such, but when I'm playing games I just plop the mouse on top of it.

Drawing is fun, but the only annoying downside is that in some programs like Paint.NET and iScribble it has a 0.5 second delay when you begin to draw, which is a pain in the ass of course.

Anyway, discuss what tablet you have, what tablets you like etc.

Go.

I have the same one that Valen has.

How much does a decent tablet cost about?

that looks like an ipad

only better

Take you and your random image posting friends with you and leave off topic section. :c

Wtf, when did Bamboo get the touch stuff

Mine's just a pen tablet

Yeah, well, the touch stuff sucks.

It's painful to use.

I've got a Bamboo fun (new model).

I really love it, however the eraser end sort of scrapes the tablet's surface which creates an annoying noise.

For the delay problem, go to

Control Panel -> Classic View -> Pen Tablet Properties -> Pen Tab

and set Tracking to "Mouse". The reason it's doing that is probably because it's detecting if you're going to double-click or not. You could always just turn off the "hold to double-click" feature and use the buttons on the side (this is all considering your tablet is just like mine) instead.

I hate mouse tracking mode, pen mode is way better.

also, can someone share tablet programs they use?
