Author Topic: Dear Truce, Because I have no other way to contact you.  (Read 15634 times)

If you go up to someone in the street, hand them 800 dollars, and tell them to make you a computer, do you think they'd do it?
That's why he asked you to make it before giving you the game. :c

For the record, Steam is evil. :o

If the person has any decency they'll say "No, keep the money."

Right, but if I ran off before they said that and expected a computer to be delivered to my front door within a few days, are they the one at fault?

If you're going to take it literally and say "oh well Pandan is just an IM away", tell me how to return Steam games and I would. If Pandan wanted me to buy him a game worth $5 to "give the money back", then I'd have no problem doing so. He just never attempted to solve the problem; he only ranted about it.

That's why he asked you to make it before giving you the game. :c

But didn't wait to see if I'd complete it.

Did he give you the games and then message you? Or did he ask you, you said yes, and then he gave you the games?

It's Miika, not Mika.

Because I didn't want to do it? It's not like I signed a contract with Pandan; he chose to gift me the games before I made the script. If he had waited, the situation could have gone better: "Oh, you don't want to script it? Ok, I'll find someone else to pay."
Verbal contract means nothing to you?
I thought we didn't need a contract.
It was just a script.

And yet again, someone tries to justify it.

"We never had a contract, I had every justification to run away with his money and give him nothing in return."
As many people say in this thread. I shouldn't have paid you first.
But, I trusted you for some reason. Despite how sappy this sounds, I wanted to trust you truce. In my eyes, you were a admirable person.

Did he give you the games and then message you? Or did he ask you, you said yes, and then he gave you the games?
I wish I still had the logs.

But, on msn.. After awhile of discussion. I offered to pay him for doing the script.
He agreed.

But Truce thinks it's perfectly fine for him to run away like that.
Block me from all forms of communication. (Steam and MSN)

Honestly Truce, I believe you're just saying this to make it look like I was in the wrong some how.
You BLOCKED me instead of staying in contact with me.

Are you crocked? How long am I supposed to wait? Until you feel like it?
I had every reason to suspect I had been ripped off when you blocked me.

but i love zonsy ; ;
I'm on good terms with Zoneark now. :3

Only if I find them trustworthy. In this case, Pandan did trust you. After all, you aren't the type of starfish to do this incident.

Then do it.

Like I said,

He just never attempted to solve the problem; he only ranted about it.

If you want to resolve the problem, you need to try a little more. What game do you want? My Little Pony's Adventures In Wonderland II? It doesn't help to just demand something and think you're going to have your mind read for the specifics.
