V3

Changelist:
V2
>>message now displays in a message box.
V3
>>Bug Fixes
>>Includes command: /messageall

Instructions:

  • Open up RTB Prefs
  • Find 'Server Message' and edit the value to what you want the message to be.
  • Ask any player to type: /message
  • That player will then see a message box displaying the message.
  • Any admin may type: /messageall to display the message to all spawned players

Note: this no longer requires RTB to function; You may now set the message in Server.cs
Although it is better to use the RTB Pref as you can set the message without restarting the server.

It does not work at all in RTB server pref it says "Server messaettttttttttt" then below it it says "Server message" but there is no blank place to write in.

You, sir are lying, I have tested this on my own server and a couple of others.

Is tis like /announce?
Sort of. Just Players choose to view.

You type, /message, and it returns whatever you assign in RTB prefs.
What's the point of it?

If you want to get something across to a player without using chat.

If you want to get something across to a player without using chat.
That's funny since it sends the message to the person who typed the command.

Isn't this identical to /announce mod?
