Whenever I try to edit a large wall of text(BlockReality for example), the scrollbar "jumps"
Any way to fix this?

It's happened to me before, I dunno how I fixed it. Maybe you should try rebooting?

Stop using IE8.
That is the only browser I've had that problem in.
Use IE7 or Firefox.

Firefox will ask you if you want to, after installation (I'm pretty sure).
