Here is my tip:
This seems obvious, but use the largest bricks you can to acomplish something you could have done with a lot more bricks.

Don't use unofficial bricks and expect your build to load on another server.

If you're building something you want to duplicate, make sure it's not on a baseplate unless it only stands on one brick or if you want the baseplate to go with it.

i disagree. more bricks can add alot more detail in color and texture. even if its just a flat wall.

my best advice is, get inspired by googling images of things, NOT by hopping servers.
currently there is only 2 styles of building in blockland, and its getting less impressive each day.

I think he meant that if you have three red flat 1x1s in one spot, you could've just used one 1x1 brick instead.
