Lower settings, turn of stuff running in the background again.
Just make sure you don't have lots of stuff eating up your processing speed while playing.

but as proog said, do all that, but also delete the speedometer mod if you have it, it creates horrible brick lag

just so you know the most i would have to buy a new lap top would just be a key board key

It's most likely your computer.


Try reducing the Draw Distance and lowering all settings.
