Author Topic: loving infinity paradoxes.  (Read 1669 times)

Okay, so my friend brought up the infinity paradox to me today.

Heres how it goes.

Him: How many Numbers are possible between 0 and 1?

Me: Infinite.

Him: K, then how many between 0 and .1?

Me: Infinite.

Him: K, so does that mean infinity can be divided by 10?

Me: FFFFFFFFF- I dunno.

Can anyone explain this to me? This used to also be big when i was back in high school geometry as well.

Infinity CAN be divided by any number, but as far as I know the answer is always pi.

So INfinity/10=pi?

False, the answer always CAN be pi, the answer is every possible number, with that little R pi sign symbol that means all numbers.

I see paradoxes in dictionaries a lot, I look up something like friendify, the definition is: To make someone a friend, then I look up friend, and I get Copblock What you turn into when you are friendified.
