Author Topic: Blockland Measurement Theory  (Read 3704 times)

But why over complicate a measurement system that is already universal and easy to comprehend?

One word...METRIC!

2 horizontal studs = 5 plate heights = 1 Torque Unit (the unit of measurement used in the engine for positions and stuff)

It's also referred to in some Torque games as "meters" but that doesn't make much sense for Blockland. I'd estimate two bricks as just over 1cm for a 'real world' size. (compared to Lego bricks)
I thought it was 4 plate heights.

Bah, There is no use in leaving this open. I must rethink this theory.
Ha-ha but don't think I've given up, I'm still just as good as any other mathematician here.
I'm sure the lot of you see my plans as decent. Now other then pm'ing me messages like "You better rethink this starfish", why not try yourselves to fix the measurement theory.
Blockland still needs one.

Thank you all who pointed out the errors, and suggested new ways of measurement. I shall look over them as a reference for later. Until then, goodbye.
