Yes, but you will have to do a lot of exporting. As hard as it is, you will have to stick with Milkshape or Blender, if you want a proper job doing. Sketchup was made for architectural design.

yes you can use it but it took me a whole day to get everything to work. if you dont want to go through alot of bs exporting and reducing the polycounts id go with milkshape

Milkshape is more a pain in the @$$ than sketchup.
I just noticed how close sketchup is to ketchup.

Hardness meter 1-10(to learn):
Sketchup:3
Milkshape: 5
Blender: 8
Hardness meter to use:
Milkshape: 3
Blender: 5
Sketchup: 6
These are my thoughts.

Well, the problem with blender is that it only gives a few shape options.
