Edit: Why can't Pokeballs be reused, and what happens to them? Is there some landfill somewhere off the coast of Vermillion with loads of broken Pokeballs wasted from trying to catch a legendary?

Because they break.

Contrary to the show, the pokeballs don't open up and release the pokemon, they shatter.

Epic stupid: I used every Pokeball I had on Suicune (minus the Master Ball), turned off/on, and then caught it with my first Dusk Ball when it had more health than the first time. Catch rate >:|

I updated my pokemon with my new team after the reset. I am working on getting them all to level 30, so I can have a nice even team. This time, I am going to play with no legendaries in my team. :D

Took me ages to get the bloody snorlax, I was just throwing ultra and dusk balls at it, hurting it whenver its leftovers got it too high and planned to use my level ball but dusk ball got it eventually

They're all level 100, and I'm looking to replace Palkia and Raikou.
