I remember being stuck on brock, and I saw ash use a water-type attack on onix in the the show. I tried that and failed.



Then I got a Butterfree and taught it confusion and kicked his ass.

it kind of super sucks that in yellow you get a pickachu and the first gym is rock type

Electric is weak to rock and does half damage. Also many rocks are ground type, too which is also super effective and electric and does 0 damage to.

Actually, I think electric does normal damage to rock, because if you attack a rock/water pokemon like Kabutops, you get a 2x bonus.

Just got this game, I got my cyndaquil <3 oh yeah can anyone give me some pointers on the personalities and stuff

I never learned what Sp. Attack does, can you please explain :C. I just killed stuff with my strongest moves in my past games, didnt pay any mind to stats
