Author Topic: Computer randomy turns off while playing Blockland  (Read 666 times)

Pretty much what the title says.   It does this after 15-60 of blockland.  Its likely not a virus, as I run a scan every day.

It might not completley be blockland, but blockland might be a factor.

Well.. Console Log may provide more information of what happend with you. I think.

Hi, I'm Ethan and I'll be assisting you with your problems.

Most likely causes:

Your computer is under stress, so overheats.

Your computer is under extreme load, and is working overtime. The parts (especially CPU and GPU) are working so hard that they may be damaged. Your computer turns itself off so it isn't damaged.

If you could provide your system information, that would help me greatly. To check your system specs, press 'Windows key' + 'R' and then type 'dxdiag' and press 'Enter'. Post all the information in the first tab and in the 'Display' tab.

I figured out the problem, it was overheating, and the cooling pad wasn't plugged in.

Locking now.

Doing it again.  Specs are in the form of pretty pictures.

P.S.  Its called LAURA-PC because I gotta use my moms to run BL.

Since its a laptop, you should try cleaning out the air vents on the sides to get rid of dust buildup, it may help the overheating problem.

Is your computer overclocked in any way? Laptops should really never be overclocked due to cooling.

My computer has started to turn off its monitor at random times and refuses to turn on again until I reboot the whole CPU, then the process of the monitor randomly shutting off and requiring a CPU reboot happens all over again and again and again.  D:

Laptop?

It's most likely a driver issue. Make sure your drivers are up-to-date, especially your GPU drivers.

I wish someone would have told me that it was the overheating when I had this issue. I had this exact same issue for months. Eventually I found out my comp was overheating on my own.

I think it's a overheating issue, i don't really know..

But that sounds like the problem
