A room with a couple of 20-30 Year old mean, and a lot of 12-16 year olds.. Hmm...
It would probably seem rather weird, really.
Also, I doubt most of us could put up with each other in real life.
What if say, two people who have had complete arguments and drama around each other were to meet there?
Also, there really isn't much you could do, really.
Showing off Blockland would be kind of pointless, as we allready play it.
Showing off Blockland creations would be odd, since we could just see them in-game/on the forums.
Showing off Clans/Concepts/Movies would be flawed as well, as it could all be done easily enough on the Forums.
I also doubt there are many people who could get there, and I seriously doubt Badspot or most anyone else would be willing to hire out a room, buy food and drink, and set up for a bunch of teenagers who they don't really know, and have no real connection to, other than playing the same game.
I don't know, it's just something that would need a much larger fanbase. Personally, I've not heard of a convention for a Sand-Box game such as this.
Mainly just for games that are set on one thing, like FPS's or RTS's or MMORPG's.
Well, that's reality atleast, although it would be interesting to get to see in person, the people whom we're playing with.
Although, I doubt even moreso that it would take part in a country outside of the US.
I doubt there are enough people who play the game in the UK who would be willing to go to a convention, as well as capable of doing so.
Also, there are lots of players from countries other than the US and UK.
If it were to happen, I'd imagine it just to be happening in the US, as the majority of players live in the US.
Heh. I could see this sort of thing going down, and it just being a few people, like Badspot, Kompressor and Bisjac... Just the Adult members really. :P
Not to insinuate that those three are the only Adults who play Blockland, or are on the Forums. They're just the first three who come to mind (And the first two being the most important) when I think of the actually older members.
