Author Topic: Puppy Linux 4.3.1  (Read 1327 times)

It's a bootable version of linux for people who want a change or like linux better (wat.)  I find it useful for Impressing people at School (and the teachers allow it.)  Also repairing computers that 4 year olds forget up.  What do you use it for?

We're on topic.
If you're going to switch over to Linux you're not going to switch to an OS that runs off of a flashdrive.
Ubuntu does not boot off of a flashdrive. You install it onto your harddrive.

1 gb flash drive must be so loving huge, dude.
I was pretty much gona say that, since I have a 16 GB and 8 GB flash drives.

You can put a bare linux rescue on a flash drive that is like half a mb large and then install any linux distro from it.

I only really use puppylinux for the powerpc support, but debian has pretty decent support as well, i might switch to that.

why does Ubuntu only have one monitor support :c and I cannot connect to the internet.
