I think RTB is dropping support for people with stuff-crazy symbols in their names.

It lets people easily avoid bans, as you have to type the name in the console.

The thing that makes this a pain in the ass is that nobody can use slash commands on you. I am sooner going to ban you from a server than try and find the correct characters for your name.

Ah, okay. I was reading through the Development thread and remembered something about people with weird symbols, couldn't remember the verdict. IMO symbols are fine when it comes to slash commands as long as they're near the end of the name, since you can use the first few letters instead of the whole name.

     Yeah.... I've tried that and ended up buying a new computer.  I got the WORST comp ever.  It's so sensitive to the littlest things.
