 Stones that move on their own throughout the death valley. They leave trails behind them, their travel speed is unknown but is estimated around 3-5 years. Each stone moves at a different pace completely at random. No one can explain why this is happening, but there is picture proof.

 No one is moving these things, I don't think this person would waste 5 years on this.

I believe this story, but that image that Riot linked looks completely fake to me.
The middle rock isn't even with the trail.
