Oro likes the focus of the street crack, because putting the focus on the background makes it look too broad of a picture, nothing to really look at because the main point in the photo is the street, it's the majority, but in the 2nd photo it's not in focus.

The first one is more interesting, but I like that in the second you can kind of see more of the crack going down the street.
