firstly, I kinda disagree with the whole idea of permanent bans, and I think they should at least be banned for one particular action, not for assorted things in the past.

Also I don't see any problem with the guy

I've been banned for doing stupid stuff like five times. I've seen them as a sign that my behavior needed to be changed.

Same. The only 3 bans I've gotten (From both Spockticus and Moybus) are Threadstuffting, Piracy, and I'm not sure what the meatspin .gifs ban reason was, but I don't know if that even counts.

I've been banned twice.

The first time was supposed to be two weeks for image macroing but ended up lasting six months, when I finally noticed something was wrong so I emailed baddy and got unbanned.
The second was a week for flaming.

Zombie ai script is better too, and you don't get damaged for just touching a zombie.
