Author Topic: PC vs MAC the final showdown. (I think the war's over)  (Read 29828 times)

This thread backfired.

He broke, and now requires extensive surgery.

Like I said, it was probably a virus. And said virus would not have happened if the computer was a Mac. There are, what, ten billion known viruses for a PC? And three for a Mac? Maybe you should consider that your "Godly PC" is really just a horrific jumble of wires.

Pcs have been proven more user friendly, both are used for different things, also..there are not many viruses for mac because not many people have it, which isn't an excuse for it to be better, if anything it proves how un-user friendly it is.

Loopyla1, did you BUY the CD to windows XP, or did you just buy the laptop with it already installed? If you still have the CD and all, reinstall windows, some computers with these problems are fixed by doing this, I should know because my dad fixes these kinds of problems for his friends when they have them.

:/
You Mac-fanboys make me laugh.
You say all these wonderful things about Macs, how they are great to make movies and music and things that are "productive" and 'useful" and "can be used in real life situations.
and most importantly "It doesn't matter if it doesn't run game that good, because all the games run on OpenGl making them unresponsive and crappy. They're not as important as making songs or movies."

But guess what. Your whole "Mac is superior" Thing just sprung from a Forum. A forum about a game. So your statement is flawed, mainly because you are saying your computer is superior, but not in games, while talking about games. Catch my drift?

Also, even though Macs have "3 viruses", those viruses are guaranteed to make you get a 100 dollar repair, while half the viruses for Windows are quite fixable via Mcafee or Windows built in security system or whatever security-virus-fixer thing you use. I've heard that the "3 viruses' for the Mac are horrid. and I know that if macs are pricey, then a repair for a mac is pricey.

:/

At least it's not BSoD, Windows' signature virus.

(I use a mac with parallels for windows games)

Doesn't prove anything. before Steve Jobs made up clicking an icon for mac, you had to write long HTML commands to do anything. How's that for user-friendly?

Once again, take that Bill Gates. As for Anti-Block, I haven't had a single virus I couldn't fix. Also, apple (who made the mac) made iPhone.

Wait, so mac uses icon coding? Because your statement didn't make much sense to me.
Once again, take that Bill Gates.

Take that, Bill Gates? Hearing you say this, I know you will counter my arguments with Poor Rebuttals, because you're a Mac-Fanboy.

You didn't really "Fix it". And, if you guys say you guys have so little viruses, then why have you gotten them? Aren't Macs invincible powerhouses?
Also, apple (who made the mac) made iPhone.
The iPhone isn't the "best thing ever". in fact, I know other touchscreen phones that are not only superior to the iPhone, but have much better features like Open-source coding and it doesn't cost 500 dollars to buy and 100 dollars monthly.

My dad's computer did the same thing.

Well, I tried not to start a Mac Vs. Windows war, and all the PC fanboys went on their usual "MY PC IS BETTR11!11!!" sort of rampage.

If you took a list of pros and cons of Mac and Windows, it's obvious that Mac is better.

Do PC users like having billions of viruses? How about a huge pointless box and millions of wires? Or maybe the excess of unnecessary easy-to-hit buttons that screw things up? And don't you love having a hundred pop-ups a day saying "your six month trial for some crap that does nothing has expired". And the whole unreliable sleep-mode is wonderful. I love the totally scattered system settings. And it's great to know that Norton Antivirus is doing nothing to protect me against the gratuitous proportions of viruses, one of which can easily screw up your whole computer. Everyone loves how it gradually slows down over time. I personally love the random flashing lights that don't do crap. It's also really cool having virtually no good community software or a built in webcam. And it's great having the PC not being ready right out of the box. Instead, you have to read the manual, connect two-hundred wires, set up huge box, find a place where it fits, and then finally have loads of glitches (which is so fun!). PC is just wonderful.

I told you not to bring it to that baseball game.  :cookieMonster:

Shut the forget up, you're the one who said that the godly PC is just a horrific bundle of wires.

If anyone's a fanboy here, it's you splurting out bullstuff facts about the Mac.

I never splurted out bullstuff facts about Mac.

I stated very true facts about Windows.
