"What is that?"

"It's an iHouse!"

"But it doesn't have any windows!"

"Exactly.."

The iPad has an interesting new version coming out. To please big screen lovers and his wife, he's coming up with the max-iPad soon.

haha... i was just reading that, and most of what they said are untrue :D
(ie, i have gotten almost no viruses to date, sleep mode works, files are more organized than macs as i know, i have a built in webcam on mine, and i have no flashing random lights, although the random popups are true, but i just ignore them :D)

Tom

Mac OS X has utilized hardware much better. Test have shown that Macs run faster then Windows computers with the same hardware. Also, snow leopard added Grand Central Dispatch, which will automatically manage multicore threading.

Yeah okay. Sure. Paid testing okay.

Test 1: OSX runs better on Apple hardware than Windows. No surprises there considering Apple picks the hardware specifically for each system and optimizes the drivers.
Test 2: Unequally matched hardware

Note that testing OSX vs Windows is a really subjective thing anyway. Due to the many different manufacturers of PC and their different hardware and bundled software and drivers, any quantitative results are specific to two systems only and the statement you are trying to support with it would only be true for that one comparison.

Also note that you cannot build your own Mac. Okay, you can if you're willing to run an OS with a hacked kernel or trick the OS into thinking it's running on a different system, but then you don't necessarily get the benefit of the optimized hardware drivers and the sort of hardware you can put in the system gets limited. There is certain set of hardware that Macs ship with and everything else just doesn't have any drivers written for it. So you can cram enough hardware into a Windows machine that it will come on top no matter what you put it against. Putting up custom machines against stock machines isn't really fair, but I bet I can find a niche engineering or gaming system builder, possibly even a high-end mainstream computer manufacturer that can sells a computer that has no equivalent in the Apple catalog.

Lol'd at Carly.

"PCS HAVE VIRUSES BECAUSE I HAVE A stuff ONE AND I CANT GET FREE ANTIVIRUS"

Imovie is now free with the computer. Windows Movie Raper is free and terrible. Sony Vegas Pro costs a lot, I assume.
Nothing is terrible unless you put complete effort into it.

Well, I tried not to start a Mac Vs. Windows war, and all the PC fanboys went on their usual "MY PC IS BETTR11!11!!" sort of rampage.

If you took a list of pros and cons of Mac and Windows, it's obvious that Mac is better.

Do PC users like having billions of viruses? How about a huge pointless box and millions of wires? Or maybe the excess of unnecessary easy-to-hit buttons that screw things up? And don't you love having a hundred pop-ups a day saying "your six month trial for some crap that does nothing has expired". And the whole unreliable sleep-mode is wonderful. I love the totally scattered system settings. And it's great to know that Norton Antivirus is doing nothing to protect me against the gratuitous proportions of viruses, one of which can easily screw up your whole computer. Everyone loves how it gradually slows down over time. I personally love the random flashing lights that don't do crap. It's also really cool having virtually no good community software or a built in webcam. And it's great having the PC not being ready right out of the box. Instead, you have to read the manual, connect two-hundred wires, set up huge box, find a place where it fits, and then finally have loads of glitches (which is so fun!). PC is just wonderful.
that was some pretty believable trolling thar carly
