Author Topic: Video card fan grinding  (Read 2283 times)

Ok, so the fan on my graphics card grinds on something inside of it. How am I suppose to go about fixing this?

Rub magnets on it
it needs magnet love

Take the graphics card out of your computer when its turned off and blow the dust out with compressed air.

It's not dust, it's some sort of vent thing.

The bearings are probably forgeted.

The fan is a bit wiggly. I just need to know if there is a way to fix this.

No, silly. It's tape that you use on ducks.

Reseat the fan. This fixes most overheating issues.

My videocard did that then I put a vacuum cleaner on it and it fixed

You should never use a vacuum cleaner on any computer part. Always blow, not suck.
