Wow, graphically, it is so worth upgrading to T3D.

If I buy it for Badspot, and pay extra for him to transfer all his work to this. I still don't think he'll do it.

Because of the high amounts of editing to the current engine that he is using, it would take a large amount of work and time to do so. :(

How do we know that he isn't switching right now? O_o

He did switch from the v0002 Engine to this current one.

Edit: The map looks cool but it lacks shadow mapping, it looks too bright.

Conspiracy go!

That would be amazing.

As far as i know, Badspot aims for a wide public, thus also aiming for the older computers.
The new Torque engine is awesome and all, but requires a better computer then some still have.

Both the new and older computers can play Blockland now, but when he switches to the new engine, i guess the older can't, thus he will lose some of his public.
And indeed what has been stated before, switching from engine requires a lot of work.

I would also like to see this happening, but you never know what he's up to. ;)

(Correct me if i am wrong with one of the above statements)

Remember kids,

No, Blockland will not run on your grandma's celeron 300 / ATI Rage 128.

He won't change, he's already done a stuffton of coding on the old engine that he would lose if he changed.

Are there any requirements for a map to have bumpmaps in it?
