Author Topic: Buzz Aldrin on Dancing With the Stars? What the forget?  (Read 1676 times)

Buzz Aldrin is on dancing with the stars? First of all, he's eighty. Second of all, he's a friggen astronaut. Third of all, he's going to be competing on the same stage as Kate Gosselin. Kate Gosselin is a shallow human being that exploits her children for money. Buzz Aldrin is the second man to walk on another world and a shining inspiration to this nation and the world.

Ahahahhaa. With each season of that show, the "stars" have gotten worse and worse.

Astronaut. Stars. Put it together. They fit.

Kate Gosselin. Stars. ???

Astronaut. Stars. Put it together. They fit.
nuk nuk nuk.

You're getting it mixed up with an astronomer by the way.

Not really. With specially designed suits, astronauts could land on a star.

Because we can totally make a suit that can withstand lot's of heat.

First of all, you can't land on a loving star. Stars are basically a forgetton of plasma and fusion. It's also 9,800 ºF on the 'surface' of the sun.

I can't decide if you're trolling or are genuinely stupid.

If it's specially designed for that, yes.  He didn't say with today's technology.

Buzz Aldrin is on dancing on the stars? Maybe it's because he...

...can moonwalk.

YEEEEAAAAAAAAH!!!

Oh stuff!

The temperature on the surface of the sun is almost twice that necessary to melt carbon, the element with the highest melting point of the currently discovered elements. Now, this doesn't take into consideration alloys and them newfangled space metals, but if the surface of the sun is hot enough to melt carbon...

Ignoring the ludicrous temperatures, there is nothing solid to land on. It's plasma.

Isnt the Center of the Earth hotter than the surface of the sun or something like that?

Speaking of Buzz Aldrin, I heard him speak over telephone live at a lecture / debate hosted by Neil DeGrasse Tyson last week.

I think it is.
