and all 3 consoles CANT expand new graphics till TV developers make something new, they are already 10 years behind PC graphics.
and when tvs have a new standard high def, it will STILL fall short of PC of that day.

i fear the next gen consoles. they really have nowhere to improve anymore. 1080 is the deadend stuffty graphics they cant develop past.

Prove ps3 can play crysis 2 just as good as computer:

"Here, he was implying that Crysis 2, running on the company's new CryEngine 3 would ALMOST max out the PS3's abilities. There’s not much more you can do," he added."
And people say consoles couldn't even play Crysis 1

You don't even understand your own "prove". This is saying the PS3 is being maxed out by the console version of CE3, so that's as good as it get's for consoles. PC has already surpassed what consoles can do graphically (This actually happened 2 years ago with Crysis 1), and the consoles lifespan is still a few years from being over.

While PC game designers are finishing up work on the bridge over the uncanny valley, console game designers will still be drawing up the blueprints.

Imagine playing TF2 at the movies! YEAAAAAAAAAH! CRRRYYY SSOME MOOOORE!

Now that I have a computer that can actually run games that only my xBox could, I'm vying straight to PC being superior by a long shot. That's like pitting a Special Olympics inductee against a Jamaican sprinter. No chance in hell of winning. The sprinter will have won long before the special olympian has finished pissing his pants and picking his nose at the start line.

Consoles can't play Crysis.

CE3 for PC and CE3 for consoles are completely different engines. The graphics on CE3 for consoles are drastically toned down compared to PC's CE3, or CE2 for that matter.
The graphics could probably get close, if not as good as PC quality (Not resolution-wise (Really, think about it though, how many people play crysis in 1080p or higher, not all that much probably.)) with the cell processor, I know it can have smoothing much better than PC can, actually.  The problem is that developers want to take the easy way out and use the GPU all the time.

No.

A lot actually.

Even with a good CPU, the GPU is equivalent to roughly an 8800GT(Don't quote me on that.), so you would need one hell of a CPU to play Crysis on Max.

Cryengine 3 already maxes out the PS3's capabilities as is.

ITT: Erik gets shat on by true facts for the umpteenth time.

Compare:

(If someone can find a screenshot of uncharted 2's forest, that would be appreciated.)
EDIT: or a good 720p crysis shot that's on a good site.
