I just ordered that for my camping trip in a week, airsoft war camping trip. Thank you whoever posted the link to that site. I am down to $15 until April now though.

You got ripped $1200 for a sniper that shoots only 380fps max.  The shotgun I got for $18 has 350fps.

I am a fan of changing springs, I have a stuffload of them next to my other guns.
I take out the springs and the gearbox, swap them for better, change the battery, and there you go. More powerful.

Well if it's your first, and you want a pistol or assault rifle, go to wal-mart or something. Your first is not meant to be good, nor a pro gun with overpowered FPS. Avoid Airsplat.com, Hobbytron.com. Go for Airsoftgi.com (which is where i shop) Airsoft atlanta, things with good reviews. However, if your really determined and want a good beginner gun, what type do you want? Airsoftgi has gas pistols, a few C02, but most Green gas and that sort. You could pick up an easy ABS plastic UMP for $90 on it, and AK-47's start at $100. If you want metal, the metal guns start at around $170. My MP5 was $200, it's 14 pounds, full metal, 400 FPS. They have basically everygun on it. So take a look. Also, free shipping over $100, so basically it's always free shipping. When you get into a sniper, they start at around $60 lol. They sell some hardcore stuff: Real gun optics, Several thousand dollar guns, miniguns, etc.

Learn to read.  With .12 gram BB's it shoots close to 500 fps.

I have a huge ass spring and motor to put in it, should amp the FPS by about 200. And I use .43g BBs

.12 grams? aren't those the light ones that are made for crappy dollar store pistols?

Yeah, but we're talking 290 fps with .43 gram BB's.  OP might be using those, but I would probably be using .20 or the next step up.  This thing is going to get a good 450 fps even if he uses a slightly higher grade than normal.
