Author Topic: Editing the admin's "camera ball"  (Read 1434 times)

I was in a server today and saw that the host had edited his admin "camera ball." I thought it was neat, so I decided to try to do it. I thought I knew how to do it, too, but apparently I don't.

So can anyone assist me? I know you just basically have to set a different emitter, but I can't even find where the "camera ball" emitter is located, unless I'm not looking in the right place(s).

I use tree(); and find cameraEmitterA i think

Here's one: http://www.box.net/shared/ogqxhzjd72

And what does that script change it to? Thanks for making it, by the way, if you did indeed make it.

Didn't make it. I just found it on Yayfun :P

NOEDIT: The scipt changes it to floaty red balls. :D

Interesting, I'll try that now.

Before I do, does anyone else know how to custom edit it? I'd really like to know. By this I mean, what, in that script, should I change to make it custom?

Particles_Defualt

in the addons folder?

The add-ons folder in your Blockland installation directory.
Usually C:\Program Files\Blockland

It's not in there. It's most likely hidden in one of the .dso files. The three emitters and particles that have to do with the admin ball:

CameraParticleA
CameraEmitterA

PlayerTeleportParticleA
PlayerTeleportEmitterA

PlayerTeleportParticleB
PlayerTeleportEmitterB

Yeah, I was afraid it was hidden. But thank you for clarifying the names of the emitters, I can actually just edit them with that script. :D

You put that file what i linked to, into addons.
