The processor is fast enough to lessen most of the WM mistakes. Also, the entire UI has been redone with HTC Sense, so you don't even really see the WM part of it.

Bah, 1GHz isn't bad. I don't know what it takes to run WM well, but on my HTC Eris the 512MHz processor barely holds Android together. Oh well, I guess that's what I get for cheaping out and going with the Eris.

It is exciting. My current phone has both hardware and software problems. It turns off 20-30 times a day and freezes.
