Let us distribute that over all of the killings in the war done by allies. Allies: Probably about 3.5-4.2 million.
Axis: 6 - 8.6 million. 5.934 million of those were Jews. Now, few people in Germany are proud of the holocaust (and I'm not proud of what happened to Hiroshima and Nagasaki), but trust me national socialistsm and Socialism aren't gone yet.
We aren't debating national socialistsm, we are debating
some Americans being proud of the bombings in Japan for some reason, and whether or not being proud is justified.
If you want to look at the numbers,
Americans killed in WW2: 418,000
Japanese killed in WW2: 2,700,000
My final question because I'm done arguing over something so menial; What is there to be proud of?
