This is what I was trying to get at. I was being defensive because he said japan didn't have any relation to the Holocaust.

Not really.  It's been 65 years since Hiroshima/Nagasaki was bombed.  I suppose there are occasions of leukemia but those cases are extremely rare. (The amount of radiation isn't significant enough to hurt people)

The whole point I was getting at was people still seem to be proud of the bombings. The only reason the argument started was because Pi said the Japanese killed Jews during the Holocaust, which isn't true. Yes, the Japanese were allied with the Germans. Yes, the Japanese were our enemies at the time, and killed many of our soldiers. Yes, the Japanese were wrong to be in the war in the first place. And yes, maybe even the bombs were still necessary. But no, the Japanese did not take part in the Holocaust.
