Author Topic: Best free anti virus  (Read 1990 times)

From personal experience, I think Avast is better then AVG. Although, I'm not using Microsoft Security Essentials and it seems to work well. It even detected when one of my friend's jump drives had a virus on it.

Because Avast reads everything.

Avira has a lot of false positives. I don't recommend it. Avast and Malwarebytes all the way.

Malwarebytes picks up a bunch of false-positives too, at least it did when I had it. But, I still use it along with Avast! for removing malware off of people's computers, they both do an excellent job.

Make poll, vote for Avast.

Spybot is good  :cookieMonster: maybe AVG
