You could CF 2 of those earlier cards for just over the cost of the second one. That's a good option and that's what I'd do if I was CKT.

What cards did you want to crossfire? I hate crossfire and SLI myself and prefer to just get a card about the cost of 2 cards. Crossfire does not double the power, and you would have to buy an expensive mobo with 2 pci16 or pcie slots to make any use of crossfire, which he obviously cannot afford. In other words, no your 2 cards would not be better than my 1 card.
