People who don't know how to use a computer.

I really don't like them.

I know I really shouldn't, and I feel kind of guilty about it, but it makes me angry. I don't mean old people who didn't see computers until they were like 30, but people within a few years of my age (16) who don't know about copying and pasting just...just...RRRGGGHH. I understand when they don't know more complicated things, perhaps like using the Control Panel for more complex tasks, but I don't get why some people don't know how to move and/or delete files. In this day and age, using a computer is a pretty crucial skill for most jobs. For younger people it's probably not much of an issue yet, so I guess I can understand them.

I can move files, write programs, and perform actions faster in a text shell than in a GUI. I munch C code for breakfast and have enough room left over for a kernel debugging. I find it sad that no one in my class (or even my entire school for that matter) is technologically inclined, and does not know what Unix, or anything important, is.

This kind of bugs me too, most of the kids in my class don't even know the keyboard, and I'm like... What the crap?
So, earlier I had to share a computer with someone who didn't know much about the computer
so they started searching for information for us both, in the time it took them to do so I could of searched it about 15 times, and then later
they wanted to go to a site, called British Battles
I have no idea why, so they just typed

into the Address bar, with a space.

And? Most browsers do a search if you type something into there, unless you have crap like IE.

I usually just type the names of sites I want to go to in the bar instead of the actual address as well.

This is a totally legitimate way to navigate the Internet. Just because I can type in a full url or an ip address or fetch an html document through a command shell doesn't mean I can't appreciate and use modern navigation techniques as well.

IE does it too.

I really loving hate them to at my school, when we are doing projects and stuff like at least eight people ask me for help on how to find a program, i find it and they are like "Thanks, so happy you know computer stuff" or sometimes when someone needs help there like Austins a nerd he can do it. Of course i can cause it isn't anything complicated in any way what so ever. My Friend called me a genius because i knew what RAM meant.
