It's common knowledge that all cards in a new generation 4xxx --> 5xxxx aren't going to be better then all cards in the previous generation, why do you expect a 5770 to be better then 4870, 4870 was the 2nd best card of last generation next to 4890, whereas 5770 is a whole class lower then the 5870 + 4870, even though its newer and comes with more features, ie: direct x 11, it doesn't have as much raw performance power as the 4870. Costs roughly 25% more as well.

It doesn't usually come with the case. They are 2 seperate products, bundled by newegg you see. Totally different then power supplies that always come with cases.

Okay, so what do you suggest for a case? I'd like one with plenty of room, good cooling, and around $60-70?

Regardless of the psu you get, as Righteous One is intent on shooting down the idea of a earthwatt power supply, I've already shown you a $70 case that has plenty of room and good cooling.

Theres enough room in my case (antec 300) to do SLI with 4870's I'd bet. I have one in there right now and its very spacious. Next time I build a new computer, I'll probably be able to reuse the case :).

With the rebates this will run about $105.

I am aware that the case looks like a pile of dog-stuff buy you'll get used to it. It also has enough room for 5970 which is the biggest card on the market right now.

Thats a great deal, but he doesn't need 700 watts. We're not trying to help him so he can brag about how good his power supply is. Also, you can't ever rely on mail in rebates. Sure they're nice, but unless you can buy the product without factoring in mail-in-rebates, don't buy it at all, because you never know if they will go through.
