My dad says Port Forewarding is dangerous because it is easily hacked. This is true for most war games. However, does it allow any external access of Blockland?
I don't know how to say this without being rude, so I'm just going to be rude. Your dad shovels coal for a living and I am a goddamn professional computer programmer. I know more about this subject than your dad. Port forwarding, if done correctly, is completely safe.
The only thing that I think could happen would be that someone would host a server and whale IP's in which they would DDOS...but who would do that?
The only "hacking" there is happens when a host enables a malicious or easily abused add-on. If someone knows what they are doing, they can potentially use this to do harm to your server.
Nothing inside of computer or local network though.
DDOS != Hacking
The only thing that I think could happen
not a freaking chance
You really dont know, you're just saying this because everyone is saying it's impossible.Am I right?
