Extremely strange error message

I was on a friend's server not too long ago and my game froze with my console continually repeating the following error message:

ERROR: CSGPlane::clipWindingToPlaneFront: error in polygon clipper

What does that even mean? This isn't really a "help me fix this," it's more of an "I'm curious as to what this means."

This hasn't happened to anyone else on my server before, and there were no active vehicles anywhere at the time it happened. It was just out of the blue.

See that's the thing, I don't think it's referring to an airplane, I think it's referring to a geometrical plane.

Map was default Bedroom. I'd post a console log if I had one from when it happened, but unfortunately I don't. If it happens again I will surely post a console log.

Has been spamming my console.
