Author Topic: Blockland crashes before it even reaches the title screen!  (Read 684 times)

Been a while since I posted on the forums, but I can't play blockland D:

At first I downloaded blockland and apparently I needed to download the ATI Drivers and Catalyst Control Center *which I figured out how thanks to the tutorial*. So once everything was downloaded, it told me to reboot. Once I rebooted, I tried opening Blockland, and it opens the command prompt (like it normally does) and THEN once it reaches "Pixel Format Set: 32 color bits, 24 depth bits, 8 stencil bits Creating a new rendering context" it crashes and shows "Blockland.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience"

I'm positive not many people would have this problem, so I doubt if any of you would know, but if you have any tips, that would be appreciated.

Turn off Catalyst A.I in 3D settings in Catalyst Control Center.

(sorry for double post)

This also happens in another game I play, and basically the same thing happens because of the Driver update

You can revert back to older drivers. Or, you could check to see if there are newer drivers out yet.

http://ati.amd.com/

That's for newer drivers. If you wish to revert back, post and I will tell you instructions.

Well, it doesn't really matter. I figured out how to fix it, so if anyone wants to know, here it is;

Google Search OMEGA Driver. Nuff said
