My mom and dad are making me expand our vegetable garden for 10 bucks.... and they want the size... 3 times bigger...

I guess you should be happy you're getting paid at all, although I cannot relate to your situation.

I get $17 every two weeks if I unload the dishwasher every once in a while.

I unload the dishwasher twice daily for nothing.

Be grateful they give you ANY money.

Back in my day, I had to plow the entire field for a nickel! And I didn't have a choice. It was plow the field for a nickel, or for free.

forget my parents bought me an iPhone for my 12th birthday and £25 a week, in no way are my parents cheap.

I usually would ask my dad if theres anything I could do around the house to get paid.
