My dad pays me about 20 bucks if I help around the house, be it babysit my brothers, clean the floor, help out in the workshop, etc.

However, it's a rare occasion that my mom lets me spend anything over 20 dollars.

Man my parents made me do tons of chores. Mow the lawn once a week, empty the trash every day, clean my room everday, clean the kitchen every day, do the dishes every day, do the laundry every week. I never got an allowance, once every 3-4 months my parents would randomly decide to buy me one video game or a toy and I was pretty happy about that, I never begged for stuff. Now I have to do all those chores to keep living in the house now that I have my own job and go to college.

My dad will give me 3.60$ an hour for helping him with either an old truck or cutting/stacking/burning wood that we clear out.

And $10 for mowing the lawn.

I get 50 cents per 30 minutes of work, I don't have an allowance.
