My computer won't boot up. Right after I installed the new update for vista. It is stuck on a screen that that says '' !! 0xc0000034 !! ''. I have to post frm a crappy XP that doesn't even have a keyboard.

Reinstall Vista. No way to fix.

I had it when I first got Vista.

There's a way to fix nearly everything. Don't be a shoe.

a corruption error with a service pack 1 or 2.
since there is no way to delete that file or uninstall the SP if you cant launch, you must;

reformat

Just scrape off some of that black stuff and duck tape it back together, glue might be helpful too.

Couldn't he just boot into safe mode, which wouldn't load any SP's, and then uninstall the SP?

safe mode would work. but he said its not starting up.

Most 0x errors happen after the initiation of Windows loading. Selecting to go into Safe Mode starts just before the initiation. Also, it would, by rights, let him load Safe Mode because it doesn't load any SP's. That is, if it is a SP issue.

update for vista.

Vista? You're screwed. If it has this sorta glitch, you're computer is shot. Or at least, that's the way it happened with mine...

Is Windows 7 better at all, or did they just add two more effects to WMV and unnecessarily update Word?
