Author Topic: Went on my first bike ride that was atleast a few miles.  (Read 2722 times)

It was painful.
First i started off all happy and stuff, going downhill. then i got to some uphill spot that i went up for like 5 minutes, guess what followed, another big hill. I also slipped on some gravel that was on the road and fell on my shoulder. i got into the highway, moved away every 5 minutes for a car, couldnt feel my legs and can barely feel my fingers.
It felt like heaven when i saw my road.

Discuss this horrible choice to go outside :(
Like half of it was uphill

Like half of it was uphill
Then the other part was downhill or flat.

Does this mean I can stay inside for the rest of my life?

AWESOME! :P

Then the other part was downhill or flat.

Like 10% flat and 40% downhill

pusillanimous individual, I got on a bike and did a 5-10 mile ride. I was fine.

Fatty

And do you have mountains and hills everywhere?

stuff I ride bike all day. Today I rode my bike around, messed around on the trampoline, and played basketball.

gtfo with yer exercise

Today I did nothing but play oblivion and go over to some friends. Actually, I did about 50 pushups.

I hate going outside. Outside is where the Civil War was held. To mention nothing of bears.

I never learned how to ride a bike. Don't need to either.

gtfo with yer exercise
This morning I went for a swim and lifted weights.

Didn't Stephen Colbert say that?
:o

To be honest, I actually made that quote up with inspiration from that episode of Jimmy Neutron where he invents a robo mom, and then its' like YOU CAN'T GO OUTSIDE. OUTSIDE IS WHERE THE CIVIL WAR WAS HELD.

It's normally a lot longer and elaborates on how many people get killed in the general outside area every year.

I feel like going for a bike ride now.

In our city, it borders a coast. Along that coast there is a walkway. One day, me and a friend sprinted:
From our house at one end to the other end
Back 90% of the way to our house, thinking that mum forgot to pick us up
She txt'd so we turned round and went back to where she was going to pick us up
Decided to go back again, so went back to my house, then way back to where mum was
All this was going super-fast on bikes, no calm strolling. Each way is about 6-8km, that's about 4 miles. We traveled about 20 miles that day, and I was shattered for a week, not to mention sunburnt.
